How TechCertAI collects, uses, and protects account, quiz, diagnostic, billing, and product usage information.

Information TechCertAI collects
We collect the account information needed to provide the service, such as your email address, authentication provider, subscription tier, and profile settings.
When you use quizzes, practice exams, public demos, diagnostics, or Progress Coach features, we store product activity such as answers, scores, timing, weak-domain results, readiness signals, question reports, and related study history.
If you contact support, we may keep the account email, issue details, screenshots, error text, browser context, billing context, or other information you provide so we can investigate and respond.
Billing and subscription payments are processed by Stripe. TechCertAI stores Stripe customer, checkout, subscription, and price identifiers needed to manage access, but we do not store full card numbers or bank account details.
How TechCertAI uses information
We use account and product information to operate TechCertAI, including authentication, subscription access, quiz generation, practice exams, diagnostics, score history, progress tracking, question reporting, and support.
We use billing-related identifiers to connect Stripe checkout, portal, subscription, and webhook activity to the correct TechCertAI account and plan.
We use product activity to improve reliability, detect abuse, troubleshoot errors, review question quality, understand feature usage, and decide which certification content needs more review.
If you opt in to study tips, reminders, or product updates, we may use your email address and relevant study or diagnostic context to make those messages useful. Transactional messages related to account access, billing, security, or service operations may still be sent when needed.
Third-party services
We use Supabase for authentication, database, and related application infrastructure. Supabase stores account and product data needed for the app to function.
We use Stripe for checkout, subscription billing, invoices, payment updates, customer portal access, and billing webhooks. Stripe processes payment details directly under its own security and compliance controls.
We use AI model providers to generate, evaluate, repair, or explain original practice questions and related learning content. Prompts and evaluation requests should be limited to the information needed for that product function.
Public marketing pages or email flows may use analytics, event tracking, or email automation tools when enabled in production. Those tools should be configured for product measurement and communication purposes consistent with this policy.
Your choices
You can manage subscription billing, payment methods, invoices, downgrades, and cancellations through the Stripe customer portal from Settings when portal access is available for your account.
You can contact hello@techcertai.com for account help, privacy questions, correction requests, or deletion requests. Use the email address associated with your account whenever possible so we can verify and locate the account.
Deletion or restriction requests may be limited where information must be retained for billing records, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal obligations, backups, or legitimate operational needs.
You can choose whether to opt in to nonessential study tips or product updates when those options are offered. Transactional emails related to account access, billing, security, or service operations may still be sent even if you do not opt in to marketing messages.
Security and retention
We rely on hosted service providers, authentication controls, access controls, and operational safeguards intended to protect account, billing, and product data.
No online service can guarantee absolute security, but TechCertAI limits sensitive payment handling by using Stripe for card and payment processing rather than storing full payment details directly.
We retain account, billing, support, and product information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain accurate records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, improve question quality, and support launch-readiness operations.

TechCertAI provides original practice content. Certification names, exam codes, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. The service is not affiliated with or endorsed by exam providers unless explicitly stated.
